How to Install libdcap1 software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

libdcap1 software package provides Client Libraries for dCache, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install libdcap1

libdcap1 is installed in your system.

Make ensure the libdcap1 package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libdcap1 *

You will get with libdcap1 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
